Dispatch a Kit

Once the kit is complete, click Dispatch to assign the kit to a cart and location and print a charge sheet. A charge sheet can be created so that someone using the kit can look at what was packed in the kit. Kit users can also use the charge sheet to indicate manually what was billed and used.

To Dispatch a kit:

Click Dispatch.
Select the check box if you want to print a charge sheet.
Select an option from the Assign to Cart drop-down.
Select an option from the Edit Location drop-down.

Caution for Cart Locations!

When you select a cart for the kit you can also change the cart's location. Be advised, if you change the cart's location here the location will also change for any kits currently assigned to that cart.

Elect to Dispatch Lock(s) with this kit and name the lock.
Click Confirm Dispatch.

You can also select these options individually from the Dispatch drop-down.

You can change a cart location at any time. If you do not select a cart or location, the application still records the timestamp of the dispatch.
