Features
KitCheck Mobile (Multiple Tickets)
The new and improved KitCheck mobile website will allow users to replicate hand-held barcode scanner functionality with their mobile devices. Dispatch Kits, assign Carts and Locations, decommission items, or query an item’s history. This feature is ready for beta-access. If you are interested, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
When activated for their account, users are able to access KitCheck Mobile by navigating to KitCheck.Bluesight.com via a mobile (phone or tablet). KitCheck Mobile is a mobile-optimized WEBSITE, not an application. As such, it can be accessed via the already-downloaded mobile browser e.g. Chrome.
After selecting the proper Hospital/Account, KitCheck will automatically detect whether or not the user is accessing via a mobile device. If they are, they will be asked whether they want to access the DESKTOP or MOBILE version. If the user selects DESKTOP, they will access the “normal” KitCheck homepage. Selecting MOBILE alternatively, will launch KitCheck Mobile.
KitCheck Mobile’s Homepage consists of two Buttons: Scan Barcode & View Inventory. Alternatively, users can also select the hamburger in the top left corner for more options.
View Inventory will allow the User to navigate through Kits, Carts, and Locations - Complete with Search and filters. For each Kit, Cart, and Location, users can see all other associated assets (e.g. which Kits are on this Cart).
When users select “Scan Barcode”, they are able to use their mobile device’s camera to scan any barcode or QR-code associated with KitCheck assets, including item & kit RFID tags, and any barcodes or QR codes associated with Carts or Locations. This ability is what unlocks KitCheck Mobile’s primary use - Remote Dispatch.
Remote Dispatch
Step 1: Scan Kit Tag
Step 2: Click Scan Cart/Location Barcode to Dispatch Kit
Step 3: Scan Barcode or QR code associated with the Cart or Location
Step 4 (Location): Approve Location Dispatch
Step 5 (Cart): Approve Cart and Update Location if Needed
