Create Detail Tags
To create an inventory bin and print its corresponding bin tag using Detail Tags, first select the Print Bin Tags link under the Tags drop-down in the KitCheck navigation bar.
Enter the following information for your inventory bin:
- Name (required): The name that will print on your bin tag and appear in the application, usually the drug name, strength, and/or package size.
- Low Alert Level (optional): The minimum amount of items you want stocked in your bin at all times. KitCheck will evaluate your quantity on hand related to this level, and alert you if you drop below.
- Par Level (optional): The maximum amount of items you wanted stocked in your bin. KitCheck will evaluate your quantity on hand related to this par level, and let you know how many items you need to tag or order to bring your bin back up to this level.
- Expiring Soon (optional): The threshold of days before an item in your bin’s expiration that will cause it to show up under Expiring Soon on the bin scan summary screen. Use this field if the item’s Expiring Soon date should be different from the defaults at the hospital level.
Click Next, choose your printer, and click Print to create your bin and print your tag.
