To access the Bins screen to see an inventory of all of your bins, select the Bins option under the Inventory drop-down in the main header.
When you choose a bin you can select from two views; the Bins Summary and the Bins Details. By default, the page loads the Bins Summary view. In each view, and on the Bin header, you can see the following information:
- Bin Name
- Strength
- Package
- Count
- Par Level: The maximum amount of items you want stocked in your bin at all times. KitCheck will evaluate your quantity on hand related to this par level, and let you know how many to reorder/tag.
- Low Alert Level: The minimum amount of items you want stocked in your bin at all times. KitCheck will evaluate your quantity on hand related to this level, and alert you if you drop below. Calculated Quantity on Hand: The amount of items currently in the ban, calculated by taking the number of items in the last bin scan, then subtracting the number of items that have since been scanned in kits, transferred out of the hospital, or decommissioned.
- First Expiring: The date of the first expiring item in your bin.
Bins with a Calculated Quantity on Hand lower than the Low Alert Level are highlighted in red. You can also select the Only display bins below low alert level check box to filter the screen to only show those bins that require immediate action.
Click the Bins Inventory Report button to download an Excel spreadsheet containing all of the information seen on the Bins page.
