Assign a Cart/Location to Multiple Kits

In addition to being able to set an individual kit’s cart and location on the Kits Inventory screen, you can also select multiple kits and assign them to a cart or location at the same time. 

After selecting one or more kits, the following options will display:

  • Replace Kit Tag (for single-select)
  • Archive Kit(s)
  • Edit Cart/Location
  • Print Pick List
If your hospital does not have carts and locations enabled, the button only displays for the option that is enabled. 

Click the Edit Cart/Location button to open the Edit Cart/Location screen and make changes. Remember, if you change the location of a cart, the locations for all kits assigned to that cart will change. 

Select the Edit Location button to open the Edit Location screen that lists the selected kits and provides the ability to assign them to a location. If any kit is previously on a cart and you assign in a new location, it will be removed from that cart and assigned the chosen location. 

Click Save to update the selected kits. A message displays, confirming the assigned cart or location and the amount of kits updated.
