Features

Walkthrough Software

Do you ever feel like you miss announcements for new KitCheck features?

Do you find new features and are unsure how to use them?

We have added some new technology to KitCheck which will alert you to new updates, walk you through how to use them, and even train you on old workflows you might not have done for a while!

You will see these changes slowly at first as we roll out the walkthroughs feature-by-feature for some of our existing workflows.

Keep an eye out over the next few months of staff training and certification modules as well!

Barcode Scanning Update

Cart barcodes can now be scanned and will bring up the cart's information page. Much like scanning a kit tag brings up the information about a kit.

Single Item Scan to Bin

We've made a small update in our single item scan-to-bin workflow. You will now be able to see on the 'Single Item Scan' summary page which bin the item is currently in. Subsequently, you can only assign the single item to a different bin. To keep the item in the bin it is currently in, do nothing!

Bugs & Other Fixes

  • We've repaired the Add-to-Bin button which was sometimes missing upon batch scans. You should now have no problem scanning big batches of items and adding them to your Shelved Inventory bins.
  • We've fixed a bug related to subscribing to the "Item Expirations" for bins. You should be able to easily subscribe to the "Item Expirations" report and get information on what is expiring in your shelf stock sent directly to your inbox. To learn more about report subscriptions read here. We've tweaked a visual bug in the 'Activity Analytics' reports. Those bar charts should look better now.
  • The 'Items Consumed and Removed Report' will now include items that were consumed or removed out of bins in addition to kits. Make sure to rescan your bins if you are removing items from them and not putting those items directly into kits. That's the only way to account for them in the 'Items Consumed and Removed Report'.
