Single Item Scan to Bin
We've made it even easier to manage your Shelved Inventory using KitCheck. After hearing feedback that KitCheck users wanted to be able to send single items to a bin, not only batches, we added the ability to send an item to a bin from a single item scan.
Starting in this release, you can now scan a single item in your KitCheck scanning station (or scan the tag QR code with the hand-held barcode scanner) to add it to a bin. You will no longer need to scan the entire bin to add a single item to it.
Any single item can be added to a bin, verified or unverified. It can be done all user roles with scanning privileges.
Here is what you will see on your screen following single item scan. Notice the option to add the item to it's appropriate bin is on the bottom:
Shelved Inventory is the best way to keep track of out-dates, recalls, stock levels, and shortages for your tagged KitCheck inventory before it moves into kits. Learn more about using Shelved Inventory here.
Bug Fixes
- We've updated how our Network Recall functionality works. Previously a network recall was issued you would only get an alert if that item was currently in your kits. You will now see a banner for any network recall item that has been in your inventory before.
- We also reactivated the broken “back” button on the 3rd step of the print items page. It should now function appropriately again.
