Create Carts and Locations: Barcodes

Locations

The Locations screen allows your site administrator to add, edit, and delete locations. These locations display in the drop-down menu for dispatching kits. New locations can be added using the New Location button.

Carts

The Carts screen allows the site administrator to add, edit, and delete carts. These carts display in the drop-down menu for dispatching kits. New carts can be added using the  New Cart button.

Create a Cart or Location with Barcodes

To associate a barcode with a specific cart, click on the name of the cart that you want to add a barcode to.

Click in the Barcode field to place the cursor. Scan the barcode on the physical cart with the KitCheck barcode scanner. Select Create Cart and a barcode will display next to the cart name on the Carts screen. The process for associating barcodes for locations is the same as detailed above.
