Features

Pharmacist Verification Workflow Improvement (for Shelved Inventory)

We have made some substantial improvements to the workflow process for pharmacists that verify medications and use our Shelved Inventory feature.

Most notably, instead of two buttons, if you are a pharmacist you will see only one button to verify items!

The following step will ask you whether or not you want to add the items to eligible bins or remove the items from Shelved Inventory.

Don't worry, as always it is not possible to double-add or double-count items in a bin.

Cart Info Downloads and Subscriptions

It is now easier than ever to manage your Crash Cart inventory and keep on top of potentially expiring items.

Your KitCheck Carts page is now a fully downloadable and subscribe-able report!

Get the latest information on your Carts' Locations, earliest expiring items, and expirations dates sent straight to your inbox.

And there is more! The Cart History page is also downloadable and subscribe-able.

So your historical Cart log- including which users who have processed Carts and which Locations they have been assigned to can be easily reviewed.

Network Recall Improvement

Our network recall feature now allows you to trigger a network recall just at hospitals within your own health system.

If KitCheck notices that an item has been recalled at two hospitals within your system we will sent an alert to other hospitals in your health system who carry that formulary item.

If we see a recall in two different health systems we then alert all of our KitCheck hospitals who carry that item!

As always, if you have any questions about our recall functionality do not hesitate to reach out to your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager!

Bugs & Other Fixes

  • Medispan Update - We have performed our regularly scheduled update of Medispan formulary data.
  • Print-on-behalf of visual fix - We fixed a spacing and alignment issue on the print-on-behalf of workflow. It should look much better now!
  • Printing Kit Tags with Special Characters - We've corrected an issue where tags whose Kit Master name included a special character such as an ampersand (&) or a plus sign (+) could not be printed. So go ahead and print those L&D tray tags!
  • Items Consumed or Report drop-down fix - We love our newly upgraded 'Items Consumed or Removed' report but we noticed that the Kit Master names were repeating in the filter drop down. That has been corrected.
  • Items Consumed or Report download and subscription fix - The new filters we added a few weeks ago should now be available in the download.
  • Kitted Item Inventory - The Kitted Item Inventory report has been upgraded to our new interface.
