Start out of fridge expiration date while tagging!

Many hospitals don't place refrigerated items back in the fridge once they tag them. Previously, if they didn't add them to a kit right away, there was no easy way to start the out-of-fridge expiration date.

out-of-fridgeNow, if users want to start the out of fridge timer, they can simply check the "Start Refrigeration Timer Immediately" option after inputting the item's Lot Number and Expiration Date.

New "Remove from Fridge" option when scanning refrigerated items

Similarly, users can now also start the out-of-fridge timer by scanning the items they are removing from the fridge and selecting "Remove from Fridge". In order to have this option, all items in the scan must (1) be refrigerated and (2) not currently have an out of fridge expiration date set. The user will be asked to confirm this action before the out of fridge expiration time is set for each item based on the out-of-fridge days set for that item in the hospital's formulary.out-of-fridge

This is ideal for pre-tagged, refrigerated medications that are removed from the fridge several days before they are added to a kit.
