Features
Formulary Item Refrigeration Settings
Hospitals are now able to indicate if the out of fridge timers should be required to start when items are tagged if the formulary item is marked as refrigerated. Many hospitals don’t have refrigerators in the KitCheck areas and, currently, it is possible for users to forget to start the refrigeration timer when tagging refrigerated items. This new setting allows hospitals to require that the refrigerated timer be started depending on the item and their workflow for that item.
When this setting is selected for a formulary item, “Start Refrigeration Timer Immediately” selection during the tagging workflow will be selected by default and the user won’t be able to deselect this check box.
By default, this is setting is off for all existing refrigerated items.
Kit Master Types
The Kit Master types for Kit Masters have been updated and this is now a required field that hospitals will have to make a selection for before being able to save new changes to Kit Masters in the UI. For easy of use, you will be able to search Kit Master Types.
