Features

Ability to bulk-delete Kits from Kits Page

We have added the ability for you to bulk-delete Kits from the Kits Page. You can select all or multiselect Kits on a filtered or unfiltered Kits Page. Upon selecting specific Kits, a 'Delete Kits' button now populates along with the existing buttons on this page.

Selecting 'Delete Kits' opens an error check modal that allows you to review the selected Kits and confirm that you wish to delete these Kits. You can opt to 'Cancel' or 'Confirm' from the modal.

If you select 'Confirm', it will land you on the Kits page with a success message and the deleted Kits removed from the page.

Updated Modal when Deleting a Single Kit

We have updated the modal that displays when you delete a single Kit from the Kits Page. The updates display more consistent language and provide a better user experience.

Old modal text

New modal text

We have also updated the language on the button to delete a single Kit from the Kits page (Click arrow next to Physical Label>Delete Kit). The previous button text read: Delete Kit Tag and we have updated it to read: Delete Kit to provide a more consistent user experience.

Added Pagination to the Item Batch Summary Report

We have updated the view of the Item Batch Summary Report to display with pagination. Previously this report was limited to viewing the top 300 batches. With the new paginated view, the default will display 50 batches per page and allow you to click through each page to view additional batches. You also the option to expand this batch per page view from 50 to 100, 250 or 500. The pagination will auto-update based on the batches per page indicated by the user.

If there are less than 50 total batches, the pagination will indicate that there is only one page and all batches are in view. This view applies to both 'All Batches' and 'Batches Containing Restricted Items' view.

Enhanced CSV file for importing segments into Kit Masters

We have made the CSV file that can be imported to create segments for a Kit Master more robust to increase efficiency of creating segments. The new CSV file allows users to import information for a primary fill for each segment, as well as the option to import one alternate fill. In an upcoming release, we will be building on this functionality to allow you to import update to 5 alternate fills for each segment. The existing CSV file is still supported by the Import functionality.

Ability to Export Kit Master Segments to CSV

We have added the ability for you to export your Kit Master segments to a CSV. You can do this by selecting 'Download CSV' from the page to manage an individual Kit Master.

The resulting download will be a CSV that aligns with the updated CSV format for import (see feature listed above). The feature currently supports the export of the primary fill and one alternate fill. If there is more than one alternate fill, the alternate that populates on the export will be the last one listed in the app. In an upcoming release, we will be building on this feature to allow for the information of up to 5 alternate fills to be exported.

Added guidance on format for CSV import for Kit Master Segments

We have added a CSV template to the modal that displays when you opt to import a CSV to add segments to a Kit Master. This will provide the correct template to use to populate information and import successfully.

Clicking 'download our csv template' results in the download of a blank csv document that supports a primary fill and one optional alternate fill for a segment.

Updated Table Header on Bin Scan

We have updated the header for one of the Item tables that display on Bin Scan as it was misleading. The logic that splits the Items up into two tables separates the items by Items by Generic Product and Items that are not associated with Generic Products. The table was previously labeled 'Custom Items' and we have now updated it to reflect what is displayed in the table: 'Items Not Associated with Generic Products.'

Bugs & Other Fixes

Data on Items Decommissioned Outside of Kits does not pull into excel download: We fixed a bug where in the Items Consumed or Removed Report, Items that were expired but decommissioned outside of Kits were not displaying on the report download, causing a discrepancy in the data in comparison to what was displayed in the UI. We have fixed this issue so Expired Items that were decommissioned outside of Kits pulls into the report download and the data aligns with the data reported for Items Consumed or Removed in the UI.

Scans involving items removed from large bins are very slow: Updating Bin data to reflect the Bin contents once an item was removed and scanned as part of a Kit was very slow for large Bins. Due to the timing of when this Bin data was updated, scanning a Kit with an item coming from one of those Bins was very slow. We have implemented a fix for this issue by reordering the timing to allow for the scan to occur normally, followed by processing the Bin data refresh. As a result, the time to process these kits has now been decreased by half of the original scan time.

Loading Bin Page in UI very slow: Hospitals with thousands of items in their Bins experienced very long loading times of the Bin page in the UI. We have implemented a fix to improve the load time of this page for Bins containing very large amounts of items. The page now loads in about half the time.

Barcodes with characters outside the basic ascii character set cause internal server errors: We fixed an issue where if when setting up a barcode a user attempted to include characters outside of the basic ascii character set (the basic asii character set includes things such as digits 0 to 9, lowercase letters a to z, uppercase letters A to Z and punctuation symbols) the barcode would render as a broken image and would not be functional. We have implemented a user-facing error message that displays if a user tries to create a barcode with characters outside the allowable set: " [Insert character] is not a supported character. Please remove and try again". This error message will indicate which character is causing the issue so the user can update and will prevent them from creating an unusable barcode.
