Corrected Lots and Expirations on the Item Batch Report

We have added a feature to provide users with specific permissions to update the lot and expiration date from the Item Batch Summary page. In order to view the new "Edit" icon user must have all of the following permissions: permission to view the Item Batch Report, permission to verify batches, and permission to update lots & expiration dates.

The feature includes an ‘Edit’ icon on both the ‘All Batches’ and ‘Batches Containing Restricted Items’ tabs. Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip that reads: “Update Lot or Expiration.”

Clicking on the ‘Edit’ icon opens up a new modal that allows the user to update the lot and/or expiration of that batch.

Updating the lot number updates the lot number of only the items of that batch.

Updating the expiration date updates the expiration dates of items in that batch and all other expiration dates of items sharing that NDC and lot number. The user will see a warning message display information to him/her that updating this expiration date will update the date for all items with this NDC and lot number.

The lots and expirations activities are updated on all reports where lot number and expiration date is displayed.

The feature currently does not permit users to update the expiration date for a batch that does not have a lot number. We will be updating this in an upcoming release.

Added a Column to Manage Formulary Table for Date Formulary Item Added

We've added a new column to the Manage Formulary page that displays the date and time a Formulary Item was added in KitCheck. The date displays in MMM DD, YYYY format (i.e. Jan 11, 2020) and time displays in 24-hour time.

The Formulary Items page still defaults to display alphabetically by drug name. The column is sortable by date and time.

Bugs & Other Fixes

Cart Page: Not Able to Filter Properly for Locations or Kit Masters-  A bug was fixed where, on the Carts page, the location filter was not properly filtering for selected locations. For example, if a user opened the Location dropdown and selected 'Location A' from the dropdown, clicking out of the filter did not result in only Carts in Location A displaying and instead all Carts in all locations displayed on the page. We have identified the root cause of this bug and have fixed the Location filter.
