Administrators can determine the following settings in the Hospital Settings screen:
- Scan Summary
- Expiring Soon
- Custom message on refrigerated items tags
- Display drug name as
Scan Summary
You can determine where you want the Missing column to display after a scan. Enable the check box to display this columns on the right.
Expiring Soon
The Expiring Soon setting determines the timer for when you will receive expiring soon notifications in the Scan Summary page.
The default value is 60 days.
Custom message on refrigerated items tags
Administrators can add custom messages for refrigerated items. These custom messages will display on refrigerated item tags in place of the manufacturer’s expiration date and can be used to provide clarity on expiration dates for refrigerated items.
The default message is blank.
Display drug name as
Administrators can change how the item name displays on the KitCheck tag.
The default setting is Generic.
This default pulls the item's generic name from the Medi-Span database. If the administrator prefers to have the manufacturer-supplied name printed on KitCheck tags, select Manufacturer-supplied name (trade name or generic name).
This setting only affects Medi-Span Formulary Items; custom Formulary Items are not affected.
