If you are having problems using KitCheck because of a hospital proxy setting, you can print over HTTP rather than HTTPS.
Backend changes must be made by the KitCheck Support Team. To enable these changes please email help@kitcheck.com or call 786-548-2432.
To enable HTTP printing:
- Right-click on the KitCheck Google Chrome shortcut in Windows.
- Select Properties.
- In the Shortcut tab, add the following to the end of the Target dialog box:
––allow–running–insecure–content
Important!
Ensure you type one (1) space before the double hyphen (--
)
- Click Apply, then click OK.
You can now close out of the Properties screen.
Example
This is the Target dialog box contents before the change:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --app=https://app.kitcheck.com/#/login
This is the Target dialog box contents after the change:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --app=https://app.kitcheck.com/#/login ––allow–running–insecure–content
