Kit and Tray Sanitization Feature

We have added some functionality that should help hospitals keep track of sanitized Kits and Trays during the COVID-19 crisis, and beyond.

This new feature will allow you to mark a tray as cleaned/sanitized prior to its dispatch from the pharmacy. This can serve as a great reminder for tray processing staff and a precautionary safety measure for your hospital.

To turn on this feature go to the "Inventory" menu and navigate to "Kit Masters". Select the Kit Master that you wish to implement this feature on.

Next go to "Edit Settings" and you should notice a new option in the Dispatch section of the options. Here you will be able to designate that a tray be marked as `Cleaned` prior to being dispatched from Pharmacy.

You will notice you have the option to make this optional, or require the box to be checked prior in order to dispatch a Kit.

Once this setting has been enabled, your staff will notice a new option in the final stages of dispatching Kits.

They will then be able to indicate and record that a tray was sanitized and cleaned prior to it leaving the pharmacy.

Kit Inventory Page Updates

We have made some substantial and highly requested improvements to the Kits Inventory Page.

  1. Speed- The report should run a lot faster now and you should notice a substantial improvement in load times (especially if you are using Internet Explorer!). One of the ways that the speed and performance was improved was by adding pagination, displaying only the 100 most recently scanned kits at a time and easily allowing the you to view other kits by going to the next page or using the Kit Master, Location, or Cart Filters.

  1. Default Sort by Last Scan- We have at long last changed the default sort of the page to last scan. This will make it a lot easier for you to see details on the kit you most recently scanned. The page can still be sorted by all other columns. Only the default sort has changed.
