Welcome to the KitCheck Dashboard! The Dashboard is divided into three sections:
- Expired and Recalled Medications
- Kit Processing
- Message Board
The Message Board helps you answer three important questions at a glance:
- Do I have any patient safety issues with expired medications in kits or bins?
- What kits require my attention today and in the next couple of days?
- Are there any important notifications that I need to be aware of?
You can set the Dashboard as your default homepage from the User Settings screen.
Expired and Recalled Medications Section
In this area, you can view two additional sections: Kits and Bins. Both sections display if there are any medications that are expired or recalled, and the amount of kits and bins that contain expired or recalled medications. Click the links in each section to open the corresponding reports with the correct filters pre-selected.
- Expirations: Item Expirations report
- Recalls: Item Recalls report
Additionally, click Add a Recall at the top of the section to open the Item Recalls screen in System Administration.
Kit Processing Section
Use the Kit Processing section to get an at-a-glance overview of kits that need to be restocked. Click Apply to update the results grid after setting the following filters:
- View By
- Expiring In-Default setting
- Not Scanned In
- Kits Needing Rework
- Timeframe
- Kit Masters - Select one or more kit masters
You can click on the value in the Physical Label column to display the last scan for that kit.
Additionally, click Item Expirations at the top of the section to open the Item Expirations report.
Wholesaler Pricing Integration - Cost Column
If you select Expiring In or Not Scanned In from the View By drop-down, the Cost column displays in the results grid. This Cost column calculates the total cost of all expiring medications in the kit and is part of Wholesaler Pricing Integration.
Message Board
Use the Message Board on the Dashboard to get quick updates on your KitCheck application and hospital usage. The Message Board alerts you to recalls made by the KitCheck Network and new recalls made by your hospital staff, displays reminders for kit management, and more!
Click the X to permanently remove the message from your Message Board.
