KitCheck Downtime Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Modified on Wed, Nov 8, 2023 at 5:37 PM

If your hospital internet connection is down and KitCheck is unavailable, KitCheck recommends having additional printed charge sheets on hand so that you may go back to a manual check process during the downtime. To download blank charge sheets, please click here.

During the downtime period, continue to use tagged stock first, as you normally would. Use untagged stock if a tray needs to be processed and tagged stock is unavailable.

If your hospital is tracking locations or carts, please do this manually. Once your hospital internet connection has been restored, be sure to update this information in KitCheck.

Scan and dispatch the tray(s) once your hospital internet connection has been restored.

Note
Trays processed manually will not have the correct information for expiration and recall reports.

Please refer to our Service Level Agreement (SLA) for more information on our uptime commitment: https://bluesight.com/legal/sla/
