Crash Cart Tracking Guide

Here is a simple guided workflow to help you track your crash carts within your hospital. There are two main sections to this workflow:   

1. Assign a Crash Cart Tray to a Crash Cart
2. Assign a Crash Cart to a Location

Assign a Crash Cart Tray to a Crash Cart

1. Log in to KitCheck. 
2. Use the handheld scanner to barcode scan the crash cart tray's Kit Tag. You will be immediately redirected to the Scan Details page for the barcode scanned kit. 
3. With the same handheld scanner, scan the QR code on the label applied to the crash cart. This will assign the tray to that crash cart in KitCheck and the green success bar will display.

Assign a Crash Cart to a Location

1. Log in to KitCheck. 
2. Use the handheld barcode scanner to scan the crash cart's Kit Tag QR code. You will be redirected to the Manage Cart screen. 
3. Scan the QR code of the location on the Location Barcode Sheet where the crash cart is set to be dispatched. This will assign the crash cart and all trays assigned to that crash cart to that location in KitCheck. You will also see the green success bar indicating the update was successful.
